Norman Pattiz Announces New Paranormal Show, Beyond The Darkness

A new program will be airing on the network of WWE star Chris Jericho. Despite Jericho’s immense success in the arena of wrestling, the show will be taking on an entirely different subject, mysteries. The new show was announced by Norman Pattiz, the CEO of PodcastOne. The media company is one of the biggest advertiser supported podcast networks in America. The show’s team will bring in world class researchers and people who have had legitimate experiences with the paranormal. Expect ground-breaking conversations on topics like monsters, miracles, and mysteries. A new topic will be explored with each new episode.

 

He has stated that the latest topic of the show will be the paranormal. The show titled Beyond The Darkness will challenge your way of thinking on paranormal subjects. The goal is to explore all things considered paranormal including ghosts, aliens, monsters, angels, demons, and a number of other mysteries.

 

Beyond The Darkness will be hosted by broadcast titans Tim Dennis, a host and radio producer and Dave Schrader, a radio host and author. The show will air every Monday on the PodcastOne app and iTunes. Pattiz has stated that Chris Jericho is a jewel of the network. Also, that he was aware that the network would evolve beyond wrestling coverage alone. Bringing in well known hosts for the broadcast has the benefit of bringing a large, educated fan base to the show.

 

Norman Pattiz, also called Norm by many, has an impressively extensive background in broadcasting. He is a Regent of the University of California, which makes up the governing board of the University. Pattiz founded mass media company Westwood One in 1974 and was the CEO until 1994. Westwood One is a major radio network featuring traffic, talk, entertainment, news, and sports.

 

Pattiz is the past President of premier academic media organization, Broadcast Education Association from 1996 to 1997. He numerous governance positions including the Board of Governors at Lawrence Livermore National Security LLC and Los Alamos National Security. Norman Pattiz is also a member of Pacific Council on International Relations and the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

 

He has served on the Broadcasting Board of Governors as appointed by President Clinton and reappointed by Bush. The BBG serves as an overseer of all US broadcasting not related to the military. Pattiz has even extended Americas Arabic radio across 22 countries in the Middle East. Additionally, he has broadcasted in the Farsi language to 40 million listeners.

 

The Library of American Broadcasting awarded Pattiz as the recipient of the Giants of Broadcasting Award in 2009. He’s also an inductee of the National Radio Hall of Fame.

Pattiz went on to introduce PodcastOne in 2010 and continues his success.
