Alexandre Gama was born June 1, 1958, in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. He would grow up to become the most successful entrepreneurs in Brazil.
Alexandre Gama attended Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation, where he gained his degree in advertising and communications. Shortly after receiving his degree, he started work in advertising at Standard Ogilvy and Mather as a copywriter. He left Standard Ogilvy and Mather in 1990 to work at DM9 for four years. There he earned his stripes for being the most awarded copywriter in Brazil. Gama worked for many companies afterwards, but the most noted one was Young and Rubicam. He became the CEO, CCO, and a Member of the Global Board.
Alexandre Gama wanted to start his own company, so he left Young and Rubicam in 1999 to start Neogama. Neogama was very successful in its first three years, and it became the fastest growing company in Brazil. Neogama was so successful that it earned a Lion award in its first years of being founded, which was the first time a company had accomplished that. The company would continue to receive Lion awards and maintain its success.
Gama also received many awards of his own such as the Caboré Award he won in 2007. Gama remains a successful entrepreneur today.
